Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector posts generally need a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
For Delhi Police SI Male posts, candidates are additionally required to meet the applicable LMV driving licence requirement.
For the CISF Sub-Inspector (Fire) post, the notification specifies the applicable Science/Engineering educational qualification, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or an eligible three-year engineering diploma.
Age Limit
The age requirement depends on the post:
- Most SI posts: 20–25 years
- SI Fire in CISF: 18–30 years
